Hong Kong Design Team Conducts Field Survey of Hong Kong Exhibition Park

From July 19 to 21, Chief Assistant Secretary Lai Junyi of the Hong Kong Home Affairs Bureau led a team of eight people to investigate the Hong Kong Exhibition Park in the Beijing International Horticultural Exposition and visited the Beijing International Horticultural Exposition Coordination Bureau.

In the afternoon of July 20, the Hong Kong Exhibition Design Team conducted a survey on site at the exhibition park and gave opinions and suggestions on the soil, existing trees, water and power arrangement and protection of the ancient wells. Meanwhile, they expressed satisfaction about the location of the park and said they would work hard to build the Hong Kong Exhibition Park into one of the highlights of the Beijing International Horticultural Exposition through careful organization and active planning in line with the design philosophy of the Beijing International Horticultural Exposition.

 

In the morning of July 21, the design team visited the Beijing International Horticultural Exposition Coordination Bureau. On a seminar, the Hong Kong design team communicated with relevant departments on park construction, exhibiting service scope, design plan review, model of agent-construction and management, and qualification of construction company. They reached an agreement on the next step of work, and the design team expressed that they will compile the Hong Kong Exhibition Plan as soon as possible, and complete relevant work according to exhibition procedures.
