Liangshan Song & Dance Troupe


Founded in 1956, the Liangshan Song & Dance Troupe is the earliest, largest and strongest professional literary and art organization in the Yi minority region, China then. It is one of the first batch of A-level troupes in Sichuan, having won the advanced collective title for the national cultural system for many times, thus known as the "Flower of Chinese Ethnic Art". For six decades, the Liangshan Song & Dance Troupe has adhered to a national characteristic road, taken its root locally, plunged into the thick of life and created numerous outstanding works with rich flavors and characteristics, as well as a strong sense of artistic appeal. Representative works: Yi dances including Duolehe Female Collective Dance in Moonlight, Weaving in Colors, Red Cloak.
