The International Horticultural Exhibition 2019, Beijing, China(Beijing Expo 2019 for short), with the approval of the International Association of Horticultural Producers(AIHP)and the permission of Bureau of International Expositions(BIE), will be the largest specialized exposition of the highest level (categoryA1) in the future 10 years held byChinaafterthe2008 Beijing Olympics andtheShanghai World Expo 2010. It is sponsored by the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and organized by the Chinese Government. The preparation,organizationand participation oftheBeijing Expo 2019 areall acts of the State. TheBeijing Expo 2019will be held atYanqing District with a total planning areaof960 hectares.It isclose to the world-famous Badaling Great Wall; thus it is also called“theInternational HorticulturalExhibitionattheFoot of the Great Wall”.
